These guidelines apply to all components in this library.

Spacing

Use the standard spacing scale (4px base unit) for all margins and padding.

Colour

Prefer semantic colour tokens over raw hex values so themes can be swapped.

Accessibility

All interactive components must meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements.
